Private & Parochial School Nurse Award

 The 2008 NASN Outstanding Private/Parochial School Nurse Award was awarded to Texas' own Carole Moore RN, BSN, NCSN
Carole has been the school nurse at Grace School in Houston for 14 years. She was TSNO president-elect 2003-2004 and President 2004-2006, she has also served as Professional Development Chair. She has been a member of NASN/TASN/TSNO since 1994 and chair of the PPSN of NASN 2002-2004.
This outstanding award is given in recognition of signifigant contributions to school nursing. Carole is recognized for her expertise as a contributing author for the manual "School Nursing: A Comprehensive Text" for articles written for the NASN newsletter and the PPSN Pulse Newsletter. She is recognized as a role model, leader and consummate professional.
The recognition award will be presented at the 40th annual conference in Albuquerque New Mexico June 29, 2008.
