Definitions and eligibility. In accordance with Texas Education Code (TEC), §42.2512 and §42.2513, the staff positions eligible for the $300 monthly salary increase and upon which the calculation of additional state aid for professional staff salary increases is based are classroom teachers, full-time librarians, full-time certified counselors, and full-time nurses. These positions are entitled to a minimum salary and are fully defined in §153.1022 of this title (relating to Minimum Salary Schedule for Certain Professional Staff).
