• Texas School Nurse Relief Fund

Many of you in the upper half of the state may be looking for a tangible way to help your fellow school nurses devastated by this storm. We have just begun receiving preliminary reports of damage to schools and clinics as well as personal loss to some of our members. We have no doubt that the damage reports will begin pouring in. We have begun a specific campaign to raise donations that can we can get to our nurses quickly through GoFundMe. The link is below. Any amount is very much appreciated and will enable us to help more nurses than we could help alone. We are humbled and tremendously grateful to be a part of such a caring specialty.

  • As Harvey continues to devastate southeastern Texas (especially Regions 2,3 &4), with catastrophic, record flooding, TSNO sends our thoughts and prayers for your safety and the safety of your students & schools. Please let us know that you're safe and how this hurricane may impact school health services? Destruction of facilities? How you're getting started back up if there was
damage? If you see more kids in clinics when school opens back up.
