GOAL II.TO ESTABLISH AND INCREASE MEMBERSHIP. Objective 1 Recruit and establish membership of at least 500 during current membership year. Objective 2 Retain and increase membership from year to year. Objective 3 Promote benefits of NASN/TSNO membership.
GOAL III.TO DEFINE AND ADVANCE THE PRACTICE OF PROFESSIONAL SCHOOL NURSING.
Objective 1. Provide educational opportunities relevant to school nurses. Objective 2 Provide and encourage the use of NASN resources Objective 3 Develop TSNO statements Objective 4 Develop partnerships with individuals and organizations that share an interest in school nursing. Objective 5 Develop and maintain collaboration with surrounding states regarding practice issues and educational opportunities.
Goal IV.PROMOTE AWARENESS AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE ROLE OF THE SCHOOL NURSE. Objective 1 Develop strategies to educate the general public regarding the role of the school nurse. Objective 2 Develop and maintain collaborative relationships between TSNO and others who have an interest in school nursing services.
