  • 89th Legislative Session Wrap-Up

    The 89th Regular Session of the Texas Legislature ended June 2, 2025. At this time, no special sessions have been announced. 

    Click on the link below to find the preliminary report of bills that passed. Gov. Abbott has until June 22 to veto any bills that he has not already signed into law. If any of these bills are vetoed, the report will be updated and republished June 23. 

    While we are aware that this is not a comprehensive list of bills that will affect schools, the bills listed here were identified as having an impact on school health, student attendance related to health needs, and school nursing practice in Texas.

  • 2024 Bylaws Updated

    Amendments to the Bylaws were approved at the 2024 Annual Business Meeting. Final passage is reported after electronic vote by at least 225 voting members.

  • Deadline Extended - 2024 Conference Registration

    Hello all!

    TSNO has extended our registration deadline until Friday, October 25, at 5 pm. This will help our members and guests who have experienced delays with their school's Business Office.
